10 questions you should ask when engaging in a building designer

Happiness is something that we all try to attain but for many people, it feels out of reach. At a soul level, we are all happy and surrounded by love. When we understand this, it makes it easier to achieve happiness, as it is already a part of us.

When we add the human element to the soul, we tend to complicate things slightly as we become distracted with expectations that we may put on ourselves or by society.

We put conditions on our happiness and unfortunately it may not be immediately obvious that this is occurring as it happens at a subconscious level.

What does this mean exactly? Simply put, a ‘condition on happiness’ refers to the need of achieving certain expectations in order to be happy, for example; “once I earn more money, I’ll be happy”, “once I get married things will become better for me”.

The disheartening thing about this is that as we move through life and these achievements are met, we then put further expectation on ourselves, “once I move I’ll be happy”, “when I have children things will be so much better”, and so the cycle continues and you never achieve the happiness your heart desires, because you are too busy looking ahead.

Happiness is in the here and now while you live in the moment with gratitude for the blessings in your life. There are no conditions that need to be met for you to be happy.

The sooner you acknowledge this in your life, the happier you will become.
